Display and Yellow Page Advertising for Pediatric Dentistry

Back to Marketing Strategies for Pediatric Dentists

In certain situations, display advertising can bring excellent exposure to your pediatric dental practice. The most common form of pediatric dental advertising is the yellow pages ad. However, in the last decade, dental advertising has moved beyond the boundaries of traditional yellow page advertising to include family-oriented newspapers, school directories, and other media.

Display advertising for a pediatric dental practice can also provide support for other marketing tactics such as targeted direct mail. And, sometimes, ads are a good relationship building tool: for example, running an advertisement in the local Chamber of Commerce newsletter.

Although every pediatric dental practice is different, a good display or yellow page ad commonly includes theses elements:

  • Evaluation of the advertisement’s reach, saturation, and potential ROI
  • Visual elements to attract the attention of the targeted patient's parent
  • Design consistency with other marketing tactics and the pediatric dental logo
  • A call to action to increase new parent inquiries
